Hey, everyone!
Today I'm going to show you another thrifty {pretty much free}, quick and easy little project.
And yes, totally got this idea on Pinterest.

If you have little girls in your home, this post is for you!
Get ready to get those headbands out of that miscellaneous drawer and out and organized!

Can you believe this was made out of an oatmeal container?
I didn't believe it either when I saw it.
I didn't have an empty oatmeal container on hand at the time, but thankfully the little lady of the house eats oatmeal like candy so I knew I'd have one ASAP.
She didn't disappoint.
I had my container in no time and got straight to work (if you can even call it that).
Here is what you need to make your own headband organizer/holder:
- empty oatmeal container (clean it out with a towel)
- wrapping paper (you can also use fabric)
-scissors
-tape (you can also use a glue gun or Mod Podge)

How to Upcycle an Oatmeal Container to a Headband Holder
1. Measure the height and circumference of your oatmeal container to see how much wrapping paper you will need.
*I used the same wrapping paper I used to line my china cabinet shelves with.
2. Once you've cut the amount of wrapping paper that you need, start on any side of the container and tape.

3. Finish wrapping your paper around the container and tape it off.

You're done!
Time to get those headbands out of the dark and gloom and display them around your pretty headband organizer!
Waaaay too easy, I know.
And it looks pretty, too!
Now you have all your girl's headbands in one spot ready to be used!
No more digging through drawers!
AND you can even store hair brushes and other hair accessories inside the container!

My daughter insists on keeping our wedding picture in her room after she stole it from mine!
What do you think? Is this something you would try?
